QED's Exciting range of books are a lively mix of fiction and non-fiction titles, written by expert authors including Wendy Body, Ann Montague-Smith and Wes Magee.

Illustrated with photographs and original artwork, the books also include fun activities and projects as well as notes for teachers and parents.

Innovative and exciting, QED books will encourage learning in the classroom, library and in the home.

QED books are launched as hardback and then a year later as softback. We currently have 128 hardback and 63 softback across 19 sets for hardback and 9 sets in softback both covering KS1–2.

Each set includes fiction and non-fiction title and within this are plays, poems, traditional, and fantasy as well as a variety of non-fiction.

  • They use the correct font for younger children and use multicultural pictures and illustrations.
  • Almost all books include a parent’s page.
  • Many well known authors like Wendy Body, Ann Montague-Smith and Wes Magee.
  • Many of the titles make excellent guided readers.

  • ‘What do you think?’ page.
  • Contents, Glossary and Index pages.
  • Notes for parents, guardians and/or teachers.
  • Charts and Instructions in Lets Start Science series.
  • Links to National Curriculum / QCA.
  • The Art Series has instructions and links to websites.
  • You and Your Pet Series has labelling and life cycles.
  • Travel Through Series has a host of features including postcards, diaries, debates, maps, charts, recipes, and extracts from Autobiography. It also mentions teaching pupils in a variety of styles like visual, hands on, or linguistic.
  • Great Lives Series have time lines, website links and pages of historical info as well as Bibliographies.
  • Cross curricular for various subjects.

 

If all titles in a set are purchased there is an automatic 10% discount.
